Chelsea currently works at Robert Benjamin Wiley Community Charter School as the School Counselor (formally the Director of Student Support Services), and also sees clients through her private practice: Chelsea Curlett, Counseling Services.
She typically works with clients from 12 years old and up, but will see younger children on a case by case basis. Chelsea treats most DSM diagnoses including, anxiety, depression, self esteem issues, marital issues, grief, ptsd, trauma, etc. She is also certified in TF-CBT.
As a therapist, Chelsea enjoys helping people take the steps necessary to change. “Therapy is like having meaningful conversations with yourself and another person and I enjoy the conversation as well watching my clients grow from the conversations.”
By joining the Thrive community, Chelsea hopes to “connect with a group of like-minded people to share information and ideas.”
