Alan Federman, MA and Martina Moore, MA, PhD from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland will be teaching a 3 CE (CEU) hour workshop on guiding couples through and past infidelity.

Dealing with couples who have experienced an affair by one of the partners can be a difficult situation for their therapist. How can trust be re-established and at what pace? When do problems that existed prior to the affair get addressed? Is there a point at which expressing anger at the unfaithful partner becomes an impediment to moving forward? These and other issues will be addressed in this brief introductory workshop that will apply some of the basic principles of Gestalt couples therapy to the matter of affairs.
