Penny was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up between Indiana and New York. She graduated from Indiana University with her bachelors in Computer Science. After college, she joined the Peace Corps and spent two years in Mali, West Africa where she met her husband, Steve. Penny has three adult children and now lives with her husband in Erie, PA.
By founding Thrive, Penny wants to bring the therapists in Erie County together to a place where everyone will feel supported and heard – ultimately to create a strong community of thriving therapists.
Penny attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 2007 with her Masters in Counseling. She worked with several agencies including Sara Reed Children’s Center and Safe Harbor Behavioral Health before establishing her private practice in 2009. Penny currently works with teenagers and adults and focuses on relationships, anxiety, depression, and grief & loss.
