Amber is a Founding Member at Thrive.
She currently works at the Erie Veterans Affairs Medical Center, as a part of the Homeless Care Team, where she helps homeless Veterans in the Erie community.
Amber works with adults and enjoys facilitating groups. She enjoys working with a variety of conditions but is certified in Interpersonal Psychotherapy for depression and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, in addition to being trained for substance abuse disorders. She also enjoys working with couples in marriage counseling.
As a therapist, Amber enjoys “being in a position to help others. It can be very rewarding seeing my clients make progress and succeed in their personal goals.” She is excited to be a member at Thrive and “to be part of a group of individuals who are supporting one another while working towards similar goals.”
Amber notes, “I feel that Thrive will give me the freedom to aspire to my own goals within my career and will be a great opportunity overall!”
