Matthew has experience working with all ages and populations but specializes in working with children and young adults. He also focuses on working with couples and families, and in helping survivors of abuse and traumatic events.
In addition, Matthew helps treat depression and anxiety, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, spirituality concerns, and sexual issues.
He is trained in both Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT).
“The most rewarding part of being a therapist is helping people when they are vulnerable and in need of support and watching them grow in an environment where they feel safe and cared for. Seeing the change in people for the better is what makes this work life-giving.”
In joining Thrive, Matthew hopes to grow as a therapist and is “interested in helping build a culture of community and solidarity among providers and clients.”
Matthew also offers Sunday hours for those who are unavailable during the week.
To book an appointment or for more information, please contact Matthew directly.
