Note: Specializing in working with dysfunctional family dynamics, family estrangement, and adult ADHD

Nikki is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping adults navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, self-understanding, and intention. She specializes in working with individuals impacted by difficult family relationships, including adult children of dysfunctional families, family estrangement, and the lasting effects of unhealthy family dynamics. She also works with adults who have ADHD, including those diagnosed later in life, helping them better understand their diagnosis, navigate executive functioning challenges, develop practical strategies, and approach themselves with greater self-compassion.

In addition to these specialty areas, Nikki supports adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and other concerns. Her approach is both practical and compassionate. She believes meaningful change begins with understanding how we have adapted to our experiences, honoring our needs, and living in greater alignment with our values.

Nikki primarily utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), IFS-informed interventions, and draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches. She is trained in EMDR and is currently pursuing certification.

What Nikki finds most rewarding about this work is supporting people as they develop a deeper understanding of themselves and create lives that feel more aligned with their values and needs. She believes growth is a lifelong process and that healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and connected.

In joining Thrive, Nikki hopes to be part of a community that values collaboration, authenticity, and continued growth. She looks forward to connecting with fellow professionals who share a commitment to supporting others while continuing to learn and grow themselves.
