Sherron is a Founding Member at Thrive.
She works with older adults who are struggling with aging issues and caregivers of older adults experiencing caregiver stress/burnout. She focuses on depression/anxiety, employment stress, relationship issues, anticipatory grief, and complicated grief with regard to loss of family/pets.
Sherron has years of experience working with the elderly on aging issues, illness, loss of ability, and difficulty adjusting to end of life issues – for not only the elderly but for the family as well. She also has extensive work history with Geriatric and Adult Mental Illness, Hospice and Geriatric Health.
“What I enjoy most is the ability to empower others to live their best life, to assist families and individuals to ‘thrive’ despite their losses, whatever those are perceived to be. We all have strength and ability that allow us to persevere in times of adversity, sometimes we just need a little help along the way to remind us that we are more capable than we think we are.”
Sherron hopes that by joining Thrive she will be able to learn from others who have the same empathetic, compassionate approach to helping others be the best form of themselves that they can be. “I believe that we can be an invaluable resource to not only our clients but to each other as well.”
